The North Atlantic Trade Bulletin is an exciting new blog that will discuss cutting-edge developments relevant to trade and business between Europe and North America. Topics will include politics, economics, law, history and culture.

The North Atlantic Trade Bulletin is written and curated by Matt Pietsch as a passion project.

Matt is a lifelong student with intense an interest interest in international affairs, particularly relationships between the United States and Europe. He is a recovering lawyer having practiced business, commercial, intellectual property and international law for many years. Matt has travelled extensively and often throughout Europe, and recently completed a Master Degree in EU Studies from the Centre International de Formation de European (CIFE). He has an LLM (Master of Law). He also has a master of law (LLM) degree in International Property Law from Georgetown University Law Center, a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from the University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara. Matt is increasingly nomadic, but has semi-permanent bases on Maui and in Williamsburg, Virginia.
